PATRES first entails a training course structured into 4
modules (see a detailed training
programme), comprising techniques for the drafting of
effective codes and regulations wiìth a dedicated workshop and
professional, multidisciplinary assistance, governance of
processes, regulatory frameworks, mechanisms and support schemes
for the promotion and spreading of Renewable Energy Sources,
technical and market-related aspects of the main RES and relevant
technologies.
The second phase consists of a range of support actions
including customized coaching, visits to
best practices, networking and opportunities for
cooperation, ultimately leading to the development of pilot actions
in each country involved, resulting in the actual drafting or
updating of codes and regulations for the introduction of RES
systems in buildings.
Participation (see 'How to
participate') in PATRES training and coaching
activities is free and reserved to local
authorities, public utilities and social housing bodies which, in
turn, will select within their organizational charts prospective
participants for the training course among their heads of
departments, heads of office and technical officers.
