The network pursues the following objectives:
- Promotion of networking actions to foster mutual learning and
exchange of know-how and expertise in the fields of renewables and
energy efficiency, particularly as concerns the devising of
planning tools and policies in South East Europe;
- Joint participation in project proposals addressing relevant
EU Programs;
- Promotion of international best practices;
- Support to the Covenant of Mayors, from the promotion of the
tool to involve new signatories, to assistance with the development
of management of SEAPs;
- Exchange of specialized knowledge and expertise, addressed to
local authorities and/or private organizations, to promote the
adoption of innovative policies and measures to support the
introduction of renewable energy systems and energy efficiency
measures;
SECTORS OF RELEVANCE: buildings and construction activities;
Green Public Procurement; transport and mobility; urban and
territorial planning; stakeholders' involvement and
participation.
