On 27th September AREA, project coordinator (www.area.trieste.it), and FORSER (www.forser.it), project partner for Italy specializing in training for the Public Administration, organize the first meting of the PATRES NAG in Trieste.

The NAG involves representatives from the Italian Ministry for the Environment (www.minambiente.it), the Friuli Venezia Giulia Agency for Sustainable Building and Construction  (www.aresfvg.it), the Modena Agency for Energy and Sustainable Development  (www.aess-modena.it/), the Trieste Social Housing Agency (www.ater.trieste.it) and the Association of Italian Municipalities (www.anci.it).

The agenda for the first meeting comprises the discussion of the training programme, drafted including comments and suggestions from 2 focus-group sessions held in Udine and Milan respectively in the month of September, the national call for participation in the training activities, the direct involvement of local authorities and institutions, advice on the planning and development of the pilot actions, for teh selection of national best practices and for the collection of specialized training materials.
