PATRES: Supporting the Public Administration for the introduction of RES systems in private and public buildings

PATRES focuses on a customized package for the heads of department and technical officers working for local authorities, public utilities and social housing bodies to support effective policies for the introduction of renewable energy systems in private and public buildings.

The goal is realizing codes and regulations for the construction or renovation of buildings and for green public procurement procedures.

PATRES offers the Public Administration professional advice, coaching and significant opportunities of international cooperation and networking to compare experiences and better understand how to promote the introduction of renewable energies.

International Conference ‘Renewable energies, urban planning and building regulations: the role of local authorities in Europe’

AREA Science Park hosted on October 20 and 21 the conference 'Renewable energies, urban planning and building regulations: the role of local authorities in Europe'. The event was very successful, with 180 experts, public officers and entrepreneurs from 8 European countries discussing innovative solutions coupling sustainability and socio-economic requirements.
